Restoration Services

I have been doing this for over 40 years and am an expert craftsman at rebuilding antique upholstered pieces, all types of leather work, window seats, outside Sunbrella porch cushions, tufting, rebuilding and refinishing of wood frames. I replace old, worn down, and softened cushions with firm quality foam.

I use only the strongest adhesives for all of my gluing and my professional finish materials are heat, water and alcohol proof, then rubbed out for the desired sheen.

I have sample books of fabrics to choose from or we will use your own fabrics. As you can see in the pictures here on our site the love-seat, chairs and sofa's, once weak and fragile, can become strong and comfortable again.

I travel for estimates and work in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Pick up and delivery of all furniture or cushions is available.

Love Seat

This love seat sat in a leaking barn for years. The wood had gotten black from water damage and some carving was missing. The finish was gone. Hair and cotton fillings were destroyed. The frame was taken down completely and stripped, the black wood bleached out, missing carvings replaced, and refinished. Special thickened Epoxy with strengtheners was used in the rebuilding.

Rotted filling was replaced with new Hair and Cotton used in these pieces back then and upholstered with a fineTapestry.

Santa's Chair, Before and After

Santa's chair at Santa's Village Jefferson NH Before is the lighter green one. I had to rebuild the main frame to accommodate a new style of spring to make it comfortable.

Santa was very happy with the new job. He shook my hand a long time he was so happy.
